In the Community

With all the time we spend in the community, we’re not hard to find. And we’re becoming more active all the time. From events to media, we’ll share it all here. We invite you to join us and to help us spread the works we do — and the words we share with everyone we serve — in this community, our community, from Branford to Lyme.

Events Calendar

If we’re teaching it, conducting it, hosting it, attending it, doing it, or are otherwise involved in it, you’ll find it in this calendar. Please check it often to see what we’re up to.

The Heart of the Matter

The labor of love that is LVVS is captured in this mini-documentary video. It features the courageous touching work of Carlos Torres, a resident of Westbrook and one of our students, as well as the touching commitment of John DaVirro, Carlos’ tutor, who also become his mentor and friend. Everything you might want to know about LVVS is right here, in just a minute and 53 seconds.

In the News

Given all that we’re up to and will be up to, we’ll be making news. To be more precise, our students, our tutors, our volunteers, and our supporters will be making good news. And good news is always worth sharing.
